  1. Browse listings, searching our vast database using a variety of criteria such as rent amount, unit size, number of bedrooms, smoking, accessibility or pet-friendly properties.
  2. Become a registered renter, completing the necessary pre-screening requirements.
  3. Set up an appointment to view your preferred property. (Note. If you do not submit an offer within 48 hours of visiting a property, that listing will be removed from your searches for the next 30 days. This helps ensure that all viewing appointments are made by serious prospects.)
  4. Create and submit an offer to rent directly to the landlord, who will respond to you within 48 hours. The landlord may accept your offer as is, or may come back with a counter offer which you can accept or counter again. (Landlords and rental agents on our portal will prioritize your submission over others, as you have already completed the pre-screening process and are a preferred tenant.)
  5. Pay your first and last month’s rent on our secure portal, using a debit or credit card. (Subsequent rental payments can be paid directly to the landlord via e-transfer, cheque or credit card)

  1. Create an account
    Complete our simple registration process which includes your banking details. We’ll need that information to transfer first and last month’s rent to you for every rental offer you accept.
  2. List your property
    Click on the “Start New Listing” tab and complete the form, providing as much detail on your rental property. Consider adding multiple photos and a video link, to attract as much attention as possible.
  3. Set availability
    Select the times and dates when you will be available to show the property to registered renters. (We only allow renters who have completed the pre-screening process to set up viewing appointments.) Renters have 48 hours after viewing your property to submit an offer.
  4. Review offers
    You have 48 hours to accept, counter or reject any rental offer.
  5. Accept offer
    Select the offer you wish to accept and notify renter.
  6. Receive deposit
    We collect the first and last month’s rent from the renter upon acceptance of an offer by the property owner. We’ll transfer that amount, minus our service fee, to your bank account within a week after we receive confirmation the renter has received their key.

Real Estate Agents and Brokers – list your properties in six easy steps.

    Click on the “Start New Listing” tab and provide all the details of your property. Add as much detail as possible, as well as photos or a video link, to attract attention.
  3. Set availability
    Select the times and dates when you will be available to show the property to registered renters. (We only allow renters who have completed the pre-screening process and provided details of their rental history, references and credit record to set up appointments.) Renters have 48 hours after viewing your property to submit an offer.
  4. Review offers
    You have 48 hours to accept, counter or reject their offer.
  5. Accept offer
    Select the offer you wish to accept and notify renter.
  6. Receive deposit
    We collect the first and last month’s rent from the renter upon acceptance of an offer by the property Owner. We’ll transfer that amount, minus our service fee, to your bank account within a week after we receive confirmation the renter has received their key.
  7. SkyRent service fee
    If a lead books a meeting from our platform to see your property and is subsequently signed by your firm, we take a 4% commission.

    Otherwise we provide unlimited leads at no charge.
